Exactly the same around here, Stuart… I didn't see a single Painted Lady during the whole last year but this spring El Pardo (in the outskirts of Madrid) had plenty of them. I'm attaching a pic of one… they are so beautiful that I can't resist adding a pic of one taken there to this thread! |=)| Gavia, that Dappled White is right :t: :t: :t:!!! (;)) I think this thread is looking very colourful thanks to everybody's contributions! :-O And another update on what's going on around my area. The weather during last weekend was bad, and so it seems will be next one! But yesterday and today was beautiful, so I had a couple of lovely walks at lunch time to see what I could find. My highlights were Orangetip (finally, :bounce:, and many of them!), Holly Blue (pic 2), Dingy Skipper and Wood White (pic 3), but there were as well the expected Brimstone, Cleopatra, Speckled Wood, Green-veined White, Small White, Clouded Yellow and Red Admiral, along with Small Tortoiseshell (which I don't see very often in my place). Cheers!
