What in your opinion are the four best birding binoculars if you only have $3000 to spend? The price of all four binoculars added up must not exceed $3000. The categories are as follows. Can you buy four good birding binoculars for the price of one Swarovski NL 8x42? Let's find out.

1) All Around Birding Binocular
2) Hiking Birding Binocular
3) Low Light Birding Binocular
4) Pocket Birding Binocular

And here are my choices. What are yours?

1) Nikon MHG 8x42 $1000.00
2) Nikon M7 8x30 $300.00
3) Swarovski Habicht 7x42 $700.00
4) Swarovski Curio 7x21 $700.00

Total Costs $2700.00

I like that you chose all Nikon's! You can't beat them for the money. Those are all good choices. But isn't the Nikon 10x50 Gold Sentinel a little heavy for hiking? The Nikon Actions are an excellent value! I wonder how the Nikon EX Action 7x35 would be? Post a picture of your Nikon 7x35 E. I would like to see the condition. I had a Nikon Action 10x50 once and it was quite good. You have a lot of choices there for not much money!
