It’s in LA and the invitation was in an email from Sport Optics. If you’re interested, you could probably email or call them and ask for an invitation. It’s too far to travel for us.

I am sorry to disappoint you gentlemen but please take a careful look at the tethered objective covers. The attach to the top end of the barrel. Unless you place them up and flat on the barrel with fingers on top, they shall dangle and block the view. Look at the ‘zeiss’ shield and tripod cover positions and you will understand where the tethering is.
Is grasping the objective covers a major irritant? Not to me. It will take getting used to.

If you still think it is user error, do revert. Maybe the tethering rubber ring can be pulled off and placed upside down, but given this is a demo piece I wouldn’t try fiddling. However, the rubber ring is sculpted to fit the outer barrel contour. Would it still fit properly- I don’t know.

Can the ring portion of the objective covers that are around the barrels be rotated so the covers hang down?
