Charles: I am responding to this as I find it is a good time to further go into some things from the past week. I have been a customer of Zen-Ray, by ordering a 7x36ED2 from your website. I have a fair deal of experience with many binoculars of several makes, and really have no favorites. I think Steve C. has a lot of experience with binoculars, from what I have seen this past year on Birdforum, I have enjoyed his posts, and I have no issues with him or anyone else. A few days ago out of the blue, Steve, referenced my name along with Fireform as saying that a ZR product "Stinks". I was offended by that as I am not sure what technical term that means but it was not anything that I said. In a previous post, when I had offered here the problems that I saw with the 7x36, with the glare, halo, whatever, and backed up by the Holger Merlitz review, these problems were brought to light. I also gave credit to your company for doing a redesign to this model. What is happening here is that if anyone posts something where they may not like something about a ZenRay, Steve C., is quick to jump in and defend ZR. Now I find any negative reviews he may present on a competitive product may be suspect. That is not good for your company, and the many readers of this Forum. I just find it hard to not respond when I see things like this. I have been around and I just call things like I see them. We all have to remember here this is just a binocular Forum, with many different opinions. I wish your company well, in what seems a crowded market place. Jerry
