The Remarkable First Zeiss Conquests (1 Viewer)

Dear Lee
The Victory Mk 1 launched earlier than 2000 - I purchased my pair of 10x40 in 1998 for £850. (Still going strong with my wife after a (free) clean and refurb, I have moved on to the SFs).
I think that was the launch year but I can't be sure.

...Design Selection pockets...had the asymmetric design. which featured on the Victory Compacts and the current Victory Pockets.
I have added the two Conquest pockets to the article and acknowledged your contribution for which I am grateful.

Lee
You mention them in this post, but you left out the Victory Compact models. They weren't officially part of the FL line, I suppose for lack of FL glass, but they were the pocket roof line that accompanied it as contemporaneous Victory level (i.e. top-of-the-line) binoculars and (in the case of the updated version with dielectric coating) included the best 8x20 that Zeiss has ever made.
