Message: <blockquote data-quote="Marmot" data-source="post: 1699002" data-attributes="member: 5194"><p>I am sure the Sparrowhawk that comes to our garden is a fair weather one.  Since before Christmas here we have had snow on the ground apart from 2 days at New Year and also had minus temps constantly during this time.  The Sparrowhawk would have had easy pickings as we have been getting about 40 to 50 birds at a time in when the snow was laying but no he waited until the New Year thaw came.  Snow then came back no sign of it until yesterday when we had a really good thaw, it chose the wrong time as we had next to no birds due to the better weather.</p></blockquote><p></p>
