Now I thought I'd start a quiz that isn't just about birds, I mean we're all birders, we need a quiz that people find difficult ;) This will get you remembering that school lesson from long ago :-O

1. Which naturalist independently proposed a theory of natural selection that prompted Charles Darwin to publish?

2. Considering that several marriages were annulled, how many wives did Henry VIII actually have?

3. How many elements in the periodic table are liquid at room temperature?

4. Who is credited with being the inventor of the modern flush toilet?

5. Fill in the missing word: O Romeo, Romeo, ________ art thou Romeo?

Joseph N

Lothian Young Birder
In history classes I learnt the toilet was invented by Sir John Herrington, and that contrary to popular belief, Crapper wasn't the inventor. Have I been taught correctly?
