Yet I gave that same failed feeder to my Mum to try (after cleaning it) and she gets lots of birds on it!I find the peanuts do go fairly slowly but the birds go through phases of interest in different foods - sunflowers hit hard for a bit, then maybe the fatballs, then seed mid, then peanuts. I think I have rather 'faddy' visitors!I get a lot of Starlings, House Sparrows and particularly Blue Tits going for the peanuts, I don't get many great tits or long-tails and have never seen a Coal Tit here (bar one on the very edge of the village).</blockquote>
