I'm wondering about the pipit from October 10 - it seems that only the breast is barred and probably not the flanks. For this reason I would discard tree pipit and meadow . The bill seems delicate. So..?
difficult for me and like you I hope that Roland, Lou and others comment, but my thoughts:
please note, that a smudgy dark necklace/gorget and appearantly unmarked flanks like in your bird is a regular impression of Tree and some Meadow Pipits in low resolution/mushy pictures and field-views too (no ...)
So despite the clean looking flanks, the underparts of your bird gives a quite "normal" impression of a Meadow/Tree Pipit for me.
But yes, first gut feeling of jizz and proportions was Water Pipit. And with a little bit of wishful thinking I think I just can make out a strong white supercilium, quite clean ear-coverts, greyish upperparts with a smooth buffish tinge (no I dont want to shift ID towards my gut feeling).
I must admit, my first thought was that the Pipit-gorget is better for Meadow/Tree Pipit than for a Water Pipit, but after a picture search I am not so sure anymore.
More confident than it is intended to be, but more comments from more experienced members could well turn this into an confident Water Pipit. Do you have more pictures?
Thank you for your interpretation! Of course, I realize how poor these photos are - but I am motivated by the fact that I have already seen even worse ones in which experts saw all the necessary features
To answer - in my opinion it is definitely not a tree - the white wing stripes of this pipit 9290 - especially in such poor photos, IMO cannot be visible. As for the not streaking flanks illusion - it is possible, but it mostly applies to birds in which the connection between the flank and the wing is not visible. Here it shows 9293, ere you can see 9293, and although I look at it on the monitor, I can see finer lines on the chest, but nothing on the side.
But are you sure Alex that it can be Water Pipit ? - shouldn't it have streaking flanks in winter plumage?
