Thoughts on the best birding magazine with good international coverage? (1 Viewer)

Hi! I'm new to birding, and currently in the Netherlands but originally from the US. I'm looking for a birding magazine in English that covers birds worldwide and also is accessible/ships here. I've found some in Dutch but can't say my language skills are there yet to read a magazine. I've looked at ABA's Birding but I'm not sure if the coverage would match what I am looking for, as it seems more US-focused. Thanks for any tips!

Doesn't Dutch Birding still publish a lot of English-language material? Birding is not expressly US-focused, and does have a lot of coverage worldwide in most issues.
Looking forward to hearing what everyone else has to suggest.

You are right - much of the website and blog posts are in Dutch only, but it looks like the magazine is bilingual. Trying to register now to be able to view the magazines, but it's a little buggy. Does anyone have any experiences with Dutch Birding? Did they like it?

Dutch birding is very good, especially some of the identification articles, but is more of a journal than magazine and may be a little technical/in-depth if you are new to birding.

Most commercial magazines will have a bias towards articles relevant to a country or region. If you want something that has worldwide coverage then the magazine sent out to supporters of Birdlife International may be of interest. It is quarterly and will have a focus towards conservation articles, but you are also supporting a charity. Not sure about international postage but there is a digital edition.

Thanks for this perspective! I also would like to start donating to preserve bird habitats so this could be a good option.
