Thrush ID - Alberta, Canada (1 Viewer)

I'm wondering what type of thrush this is. I live in Alberta, Canada, so the main thrushes I might see are veerys, hermit thrushes, and Swainson's thrushes. I'm thinking it's probably a Veery but in some pictures he appears to have darker spots than the average Veery. The pictures aren't great but I hope they help. Let me know what you think.

I shall guess Swainson's thrush on account of the buffy face and on further account of it not being a veery (upperparts not rufous) and not being a hermit thrush (tail not contrastingly rufous).
