Thrush, Swaison's or Hermit? (Northern Virginia, Oct. 17, 2020) (1 Viewer)

Hi, I tentatively marked this as a Swainson's (taken today, Oct. 17, 2020, in Alexandria, Virginia, US), but I am not 100% comfortable, the other choice being Hermit.

What do you think?

Thanks,
Howard

I believe you are right. Few Hermits show the buffy supraloral area shown in your image.

I agree with Niels.

Hermit Thrushes are one of my yard birds and this doesn't match up with my Hermies ;)
