Taken recently by a friend of mine near the city of Madison. So far there is no consensus as to its ID. Any opinion?

Being from the Midwest - we just call all such birds Grey-cheeked, as Bicknell's is well out of range, you can't reliably separate them by sight, and they don't sing in migration (well, here anyway).
