Sean - will you need photos for this? Kev Campbell has taken a number at Tice's which I know he'd be pleased to publish - I'll speak to him.

Rich S

That's exactly what I was going to suggest closer to the time.

We need the best bird photo taken at Tice's this year for the front cover, and it has to be his BN Grebe.

Also, if anyone has any bird shots, even record ones, of birds at Tice's this year, I'd be delighted to include them in the report. There's no need right now really, but at the end of the year. I can't find my shot of the Temminck's Stint on my computer! ahhhh!

No that's fine Rich. I have that, just the photos I'm missing.

By the way all. I am currently taking all the bird records from this thread and off Surrey Birders database. So, come the end of the year you'll (including Kev) just have to send me any important counts that you haven't put on either of these. I'm hoping there's not going to be many. I am particularly looking for records of those lesser-reported species, particularly any notable counts (e.g. I saw 5 Green Woodpecker on one day, but forgot to record it anywhere!).

Sean,

I have a selection of phonescoped record shots of the Temminck's. None of great quality but may be better than nothing. Will email them over to you shortly.

Perhaps one of you guys can knock up some notes on the Temminck's (preferably the finder?) as we have our annual records meeting on Oct 20th.

Cheers

I have started a log pile by the last sleeping area - perhaps prudent to add as we go along.
