So, have two feeding tubes out front...used a tree ring with a wooden ring around it and then put landscaping rocks down...worked for a bit and then between the dropped chaff and the Washington state rain it turned pretty icky so added more rock...did this a few more times and then raccoons started to move the rock to get to the chaff and such so bought bigger stones and put those down...they still move those out of the way and now the tree ring/rock looks like quicksand :(...thoughts on what to do please...we buy the no-mess blend...attached is a current pic of it and the surrounding area looks...thanks!20220514_110951 (1).jpg

Hmmm.... not sure about this. It would appear that there is something in the feed that the birds don't want to eat, but which attracts the raccoons.

Is it possible to attach some form of collar underneath the tubes to catch the droppings. Or maybe have a bird table for those seeds..... or even use those seeds on the ground in a different area where it doesn't matter if there's a mess?
