No I'm not talking about terorrists or murderers, I'm talking about which are the top 10 species on the British List that you would love to see, not becuase of their rarity but becuase you have just always wanted to see one. My friend asked me this the other day and I've been thinking about what mine would be but I managed to wittle the list down to:

I have to agree with you there, cerulean would be my all time dream bird but I'd be happy with any of them tbh ;)

IME and IMHO, Magnolia Warbler is a top notch warbler -- nicer looking than the still lovely Northern Parula.

I find it interesting which birds people are listing here as birds they really want to see -- Common Nighthawk and Belted Kingfisher really are very neat. Not sure about the Laughing Gull though after working along the gulf coast and seeing thousands upon thousands of them (and even hearing them in my dreams!)... but gulls do not tend to excite me very much for the most part.

Rufous-tailed Robin
Magnolia Warbler
Cretzschmar's Bunting

Blue cheeked Bee eater (dipped 2 times too!)
Northern Parula (to fill a glaring hole on my UK list, a bird I have had chance to see several times and haven't for various reasons!)

As you will guess I'm a big Chat/thrush and bunting fan! Got one of my all time wants last week of course.... White-throated Robin!B :)
