Townsend's Warbler in Northern California? (1 Viewer)

I took this photo in the late afternoon of 21 November 2024 in Santa Cruz California. I'm guessing it's a Townsend's Warbler, but I don't think I've seen one before, so I'm not sure. Unfortunately this is the only photo I have. I would be grateful for a more definitive identification.

Yes immature I think. (I think a distinction from the Eastern black-throated green warbler is a clearer face pattern with better defined yellow stripes)

Yes - they are very common in Santa Cruz in winter and, in my experience, relatively confiding and one of the easiest warblers to photograph.
