In Mexico recently, it worked out well to use their excellent long-distance buses plus occasional taxis and collectivos. But services such as Inter-bus don't seem to go to many places, and Lawson writes that "public buses are also an option, but not recommended". Are there really no other alternative to driving?Maybe the good sites (such as La Selva or Bosque de la Paz) are too remote for any public transport.
