Tree or Spanish Sparrow? Essex UK (1 Viewer)

Hi, I saw this tonight in South Essex, from a distance, I first thought it was a Reed Bunting, but it actually looks like a Tree or Spanish sparrow - not sure which. Could someone confirm please?

If so, are these fairly rare for Essex? I've never seen one here before?

House - can just see the grey on top of the crown.

Tree would have a black spot on the cheek, Spanish extensive black streaking down the flanks and a more extensive black bib.
