Otherwise, you might git-r-done with a smaller 701/G2180 head, but you will be constantly fiddling with the tilt tension every time you tilt the scope more than ~10deg from horizontal. If you are not too tall or can sit when observing then perhaps 28mm upper leg section tripod could work too. I don't think you will need a balance rail unless you start hanging cameras off the eyepiece.</p></blockquote><p></p>
