Lots of fledglings today - mainly blue, great tits, chiffchaff etc. But great to see a pair of grey wagtails had successfully raised one and I think this is a fledgling gold crest?

Kingfisher along the River Cole, this afternoon, it gave a few calls.
A juvenile Robin flew close to me.
Loud Song Thrush singing again.

The GC grebe family have left the nest, but not each other!

Up very early for the dawn chorus.
I was stood by the side of the river when the Kingfisher flew past, just above the water, calling and dazzling.

A late afternoon walk along the River Cole. I think I found a juvenile Kingfisher as it did not call.
Then further along, music to my ears, an adult Kingfisher calling.
