Hi Norm Thank you Norm for the information, and your links. Great advice there. I thought what I had was not as bad as Roys. The reason was that I had no due warning in the first place of any virus at all. I am always under the impression if it a Trojan, a visual message/icon will arrive on your screen to warn you via your AVG or whatever virus/malware you have. Cannot see a Trojan being sneaky and infecting your machine without you knowing at all. You never know though - what is lurking. Hi Bob Sorry to hear of your discovery. I am pleased that you have got a hold of the Trojans/adware problems I have AVG as you know, and I have set it up to do an automatic full scan every day. Best way incase you forget. It helps a lot. The only downside with AVG 8 is you need to press the 'update manager' button every so often to 'force' it to update latest software - that is my only grumble about it. It means you have to keep your eye on AVG icon to see if it is up to date. Each time I have got a Trojan it is always been from using the internet - no other way so far. Had two Fake Trojans at one time last time. :-C Never mind it is trying to get the better of the little so and so's :t:
