Barn Owls show up sometimes as well, although not exactly reliable.If you can get to Oxfordshire, it's worth thinking about Otmoor for cuckoo - chances are at least reasonable, although not certain, plus they still get a few turtle doves which are usually easy to see. But I guess it might be in the zone that's too far for a day trip and not far enough for a longer holiday.</blockquote>
