Took these two photos a couple of days ago in San Rafael. They were in a sanitation plant pond. I am thinking that Gull-A is a Mew Gull, byt uncertain about Gull-B. Both birds had yellow legs. Appreciate help with ID. Thank you.

Hello,
agree with Mew Gull for the first, it looks so good for this species, that I comment, even in a bird from the US.
Second one looks some kind of strange with a stubby, broad bill and a pale yellow eye, so it might be a 3 cy Ring-billed Gull? Please delete last sentence, I have never seen one.

Both are mew gulls. They are some of the only gulls that regularly sit on the ponds there other then some ring-billeds. The other species are usually flyovers at that location. But, the petite Bill and dark primaries point to Mew.
