Two New Species (and Several Others I've Seen Before but Am Still Excited About) (1 Viewer)

I had a wonderful day birding at John Heinz Wildlife Refuge today! I saw my first Great Egret...and then 4 more. I saw mute swans for the first time. I was also really excited to see 2 ospreys. I've seen them before, but only once, so it felt almost like seeing them for the first time. I also saw great blue herons (first time I've seen more than one in an area, but the refuge has an observation platform that let me see several dispersed throughout the marsh), barn swallows, tree swallows, robins, catbirds, a northern flicker, wood ducks, either mallards or American Black ducks, red-winged blackbirds, a turkey vulture, a warbler species, and some species of flycatcher. If anyone lives in or is passing through Pennsylvania, I highly recommend stopping here for birding.
