Hahaha, I didn't actually mean for you to guess as to the gull species, but it is a ring-billed gull. Also try not to get the answer right for a while, because I'm running out of bad bird pictures (Never thought I'd be sorry about that!)
Yes and Yes. I think it was a mating dance, since the male would hop around with his tail raised, and then he and another male would fly up in the air together.
