Nancy was a very kind lady as not only did the birders take over the phone, but those of us that had hitched over were allowed to leave there rucksacks at the Cafe. This was great as we didn't have to lug them around all day. She would always leave them on her doorstep when she turned in for the night & we would pick them up on route from The White Horse to The Beach Hotel.
