I'm rather new to birding. I think this shot is of a Juvenile Goldfinch but according to my birding book a juvenile has streaky chest markings, so I'm not 100% sure and late November I would've thought it may have adult plummage by now......or maybe it's not a Goldfinch?

Many thanks

Female Chaffinch.

Chaffinches always have distinctive white wing bars.

Goldfinch, along with greenfinch and siskins always show yellow in the wing

Thanks all, It probably should've been obvious to me but I think that the lack of the redish brown chest threw me. :-O
