Help please. lots of pipits etc but which ?
Is wader a commom sandpiper ?

The wader I think you're referring to is IMHO Ruff amongst Redshank. Not great with pipits so will leave them to the experts.

I know what you mean but to me the underpart streaking looks far too heavy and thick for a Water Pipit.

Fair enough. I've only just begun to get into pipit identification, and sometimes these differences can seem quite subtle.
