Hello All,

Any ideas about this nesting female? I can't see enough of her to make a match, and oh yeah, I'm quite new to this... still learning the ropes. Seen today in Sugarland, Texas, southwest of Houston. She's nesting in the hub gear of an old time Texas windmill.

Many thanks for all possible help.

Thanks so much for the help, folks! I had looked at an Inca Dove as a possibility, but the comparison photos I looked at were distinctly bluish in feather color.

Cheers,
