Unknown bird of prey in Nambia desert (1 Viewer)

Hello everybody,

in April 2015, between Ausnek und Helmeringhausen, right in the desert of Namibia, I spotted this somewhat colorful bird of prey on a roadside post - and despite spending a bit of time searching, I am unable to identify it. I suspect it's a juvenile / immature specimen - maybe a Pale Chanting Goshawk in transition between juvenile and adult appearance? It's the legs that make be think that.

Hoping for help,
Ralph
