Hi, I'm relatively new to identifying birds, and I don't know what the bird in this picture is.
Can anybody help me?
This bird was seen on a coastal beach in Western Europe.

Thanks, I didn't know where in the world this was viewed, and I didn't want to rule out any birds because of location. What makes you think it is a Meadow Pipit rather than a Water Pipit?

The heavily marked mantle and pale pink legs both point to Meadow rather than Water.
