Two years ago when crossing the Channel on a Ferry I photographed this immature Gull. I find the bird hard to ID, yellow legs would point to either Lesser Black-Backed or Yellow-legged, I think. Bulky appearance perhaps more like Yellow-Legged. Obvious carpal patches and "warm" brown color confuse me though. Also the almost completely white body, orange-yellow color of legs and bright yellow bill seems somewhat more advanced (3th CY? Still black-tipped) than the wings.

Could someone help me with the ID?

Regards, Frank
