A Bullfinch whilst driving past also struck me as odd once. Did see a Swallow on the wires today - but there's been one about here the last few days so not exactly unexpected. Tawny Owl (in happier circumstances than described above) and Buzzard struggling to remain upright have amused me at least once though.Can't really remember anything unusual abroad either personally, but must have seen the odd thing. Any non-passerine (or non-habitual percher) on wires is odd though - Woodcock (of any persuasion) and Woodpecker especially so!</blockquote>
