Thursday 20th March

This from Andy Harris at the Trust

For the forum and website
Contractors, RS Hydro will be installing monitoring equipment in the Flashes this Thursday 20th March. They hope to be onsite from 8:00 am to 6.00 pm at the latest. Work will be done sensitively.
Bird viewing opportunities will be limited from the avocet and cuckoo hide at the Flashes.
The equipment will be used to monitor the hydrological detail of the site, notably depths, salinity and flow rate.

Much of the monitoring will be done electronically by data logger, but some brief visits will be undertaken to check equipment is working and retrieve data.

So anyone visiting this Thursday get there early. I don't think they will be there all day. I will be on site early and will post when work is completed.
