Hi des

Hi John. The Terns were sitting in the three rafts near the east hide.

Des.

p.s. It was interesting watching the cattle this evening walking across the second flash and walking through areas where gulls have been nesting, including one of the outer islands. There was quite a commotion with the gulls and Avocets trying to deflect the cattle from their path through the water. All to no avail of course.

I will post an image if it is suitable.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.... B
Your not laurie by any chance hes always got a lot to say about certain reserves that he dont go to 8-P

Just because you do not visit a reserve, it does not mean you can't express an opinion. I was under the impression that the cattle were prevented from wandering into sensitive areas at certain times of the year? Upton Warren is not local to me, neither are a number of other local 'hotspots' that people are drawn to. I just thought the cattle situation had been sorted, especially at this time of year! Do not know how old you are, but I reckon that I have visited UW more times than yourself over the last 30 years!:-O

Sorry, you have lost me? Not into competitive birding these days or how many times I can visit a site and post messages. Think you need to sort your grammar/spell check/predictive text out before posting.

Interesting comparison with Laurie/rolling thunder! Will have to do some research and find out who he is. Possibly a long lost brother and we were separated at birth. Makes you think!8-P
