It's only Rock and Roller but I like it

I photographed a solitary bee on the causeway on 25 February this year. Unfortunately my photo is not good enough to clinch the ID which is determined by the arrangement of wing veins but there is a real possibility that the bee is an RDB3 species, Colletes cunicularius, for which there is only one previous Worcestershire record from Hartlebury Common. The bees habitat is sand dunes, wherever creeping willow grows, and as well as willow they have been observed visiting dandelion and blackthorn. An appropriate habitat for the bee at Upton may exist within the Education Reserve. JS
