Hello, I havent visited the reserve and was wondering where to park for dawn or dusk visit to the flashes without the risk of being locked in. Do you park at Moors and walk? thanks

I see no one has answered so I think it best if you do park at the Moors and walk to the sailing lake as the gates will be locked until about 8.00am. I'm not certain what time they lock them in the evening.
Be certain to get there early as the Glaucous Gull leaves at about 7.00am

Today's work party Moors

Thanks to all this Seasons work party crew...I know some are off sick/injured and others on holiday...but if you have been on 1 or all the work parties thank you.
We have finished all the habitat work 3 weeks earlier than we exppected, purely due to the great turn outs each week. Thanks also to all the cake Makes..Andy/Ellen, Bobby P, Julie W, Sue T, Tony B and Today Ian R :eat:
There are still a few small maintenance jobs but none of these will disturb any birds. Apart from refurbishing
and then relaunching tern rafts in April and May.

Today
The Secret Garden previously totally overgrown was completely opened up and hopefully willow warblers will return. Habitat piles were created from the majority of the cuttings.
The dead hedge line in the SE corner of the North Moors trail was strengthened and repaired.

Thanks to the 25
Alan D. Andy A. Bob G. Bob O. Bobby P. Bob R. Charles. Chris S. Dave Hi. Ellen A. Graham L. Ian B. Ian J. Ian R. Jim B. John H. Julie W. Keith M. Kim W. Nick L. Paul M. Ray C. Roger S. Tony B and me
Thanks Ian R and Auntie Eileen for the cake:eat:B :)
