More Pics

Just a few more pics.

Could anyone confirm if the 2 pictures of Dragon flies are Common, Migrant or Southern Hawkers please? I was thinking that it was a Common but my references seem to point towards Migrant.

The other pictures were taken today.

Nice Dragon pics :t: You would be pretty lucky to get Common Hawker in Worcs, they do occur in the odd area, but are nowhere near 'common'.

Both pics are mature ♂ Migrant Hawkers

As anybody been on the Flashes today, if so anything there. Also any rough estimates on the shoveler numbers. The mowing has finished now and the ducks should settle back down. The shovelers are both wintering and passage birds, so their numbers fluctuate at this time, but it is always interesting to keep tabs on the numbers.B :)John

Somebody must have been down today as the Scaup is still reported as present at the Moors Pool (for its 11th day).
