Having no bird guide with me, I'm struggling with these ducks seen at Bear River, Utah earlier this month.

As to the birds in 4, the right had bird looks strange for either Cinnamon or Blue-winged but I have no good alternatives than a different looking bird for one of those. It seems that possibly the basis for saying the bird in 5 is a Cinnamon is based primarily on bill size but another good feature for differentiating the two is the presence of strong eye arcs in Blue-winged and this bird has those. On that feature I'd lean toward B-w but the problem of separating these two is underappreciated.
