2 days in bed will a flu like symptom
Little Owl sits on my neighbour’s roof in the sunshine, Robin to add to the garden trip list and have heard Eastern Orphean Warbler.

Chaffinch by far the most numerous species.

Ventured down to the town for a bay side coffee where a Little Egret was happy to forage on the waterside only a few feet away

Happy Christmas

Not been watching the garden as much as planned but have had some different species when I have looked out

Two Raven over, two Linnet in the trees, handful of Greenfinch and best of all a Sombre Tit

In the village got up very close to a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and heard a Kruipers Nuthatch just outside the village.

Chaffinch and Blackcap still in huge numbers

New bird for the garden this morning, Common Nightingale called as it passed through a few trees outside the balcony. Heavy heavy rain last night seems to have brought a little bird life through.
Lesser Whitethroat is new this week as is Lesser Spotted Woodpecker.

Sun just coming out now while a Raven flies over.

What a day of incredible birds that have been through the garden.
As well as the Common Redstarts this morning, just had three new garden ticks.

Started off with a Wryneck (second ever sighting for me) that just flew into the tree next to the balcony, gone before I could get the camera. So I went round the back to search for it and found a Hoopoe.
Quick snap of the Hoopoe and found 3 Whinchats.
Add Common Whitethroat, Middle Spotted Woodpecker and a Masked Shrike… superb half an hour
Not forgetting the Syrian Woodpecker that startled the Whinchat in image one
