Very busy at the bird feeder today! (7 Viewers)

First time in awhile I’ve just had a Bullfinch at my feeder and a flock of Starlings too.

2 Little Owls feeding chicks I think
Male passing food to female on our roof. Then female calling loudly until male delivers again

Great to see and hear so close

2 Stock doves have started coming to the garden, a baby great tit visited today and had 5 hirundines over, quite high but think 1 swallow and 4 swifts

Stock Doves are a good garden bird
I can see them in the local park but never had one visiting the garden

Electric Storms today so not too much to see in the garden
The sunshine came through for a while and the pair of Eastern Oliveacous Warblers were very conspicuous feeding the chicks
Good to see how big the beak is on this species

Back to England in the morning so last realms of sunshine from our Turkish home

A short walk from the village yesterday morning a female Golden Oriole

Sat on balcony for final evening and a Eurasian Scops Owl is calling close by

Two little Owls constantly fetching food

Unfortunately I will miss the fledging

This morning had a Bullfinch at the feeder.

Lots of juveniles being fed here: blue tits, great spotted woodpecker, rooks, great tits, robins

Plenty of birds but not many at the feeder. They seem to be filling themselves up with bugs, i.e. natural food

Had a few Greenfinches and a Bullfinch this morning. The Bullfinch has been quite the regular to my feeders recently.

Busy with Goldfinches & House Sparrows at the fatballs.

Just lowered the coconut feeder from its previous place and it’s funny watching The Magpies trying to find a way to get at it. Plenty of small birds going to it though so that’s good.

Woke up the sound of a Green Woodpecker this morning.

And on a slightly different note I downloaded the Merlin App yesterday. Quite addictive though it constantly gets the Stock Dove wrong. It’s also frequently picking up Goldcrests which I know I struggle to hear. Almost like it’s mocking me 😂
