Maybe I wont buy it, but you really should just focus on your own purchases and your own money. Your prediction just comes off as arrogant (and irrelevant) and argumentative for no reason. I can't afford even the gray one right now, nevertheless I have added SF 10x42 on my shortlist since I was so impressed with it when I briefly tried it last weekend.  It may be quite a while before I buy a 10x binocular and maybe I never will, but that is my choice and I do have the right to continue to ask questions on the forum and make comments in an effort to figure out what I need and desire in a new 10x binocular.Enjoy what you have and, if it's a gray or black SF, then you have one of the very best binoculars made.</blockquote>
