Village Weavers in The Gambia - December through to February - but what sex? (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to differentiate between female Village Weavers and males in non-breeding plumage?
Try as I might, I cannot identify the sexes of the birds in the attached photos, at least not with any degree of certainty.
My best guess would be that the bird in photo 5 is a female, but I'm not holding my breath.
Expert help would be much appreciated.
