can anyone give me some info on visiting the Zapovedniks in eastern Russia, specifically the ones near Vladivostok and Lake Baikal? I gather they are restricted access, but I can't seem to find any information on how or if they can be visited although some are said to have tourist trails or facilities (eg the Dalnevostochny Morskoy Zapovednik).

Page here showing the ones near Vladivostok: http://www.wild-russia.org/html/br13_amur.htm

And those by Lake Baikal (also the national parks there): http://www.wild-russia.org/html/br10_baikal.htm

One I'm particularly interested in is Lake Khanka north of Vladivostok. Is there any public transport up there or anywhere to stay, or does it need to be done as a tour?
