I'm sure that I'm missing something obvious here. Several Grey-tailed Tattlers around. This seems long-necked in accordance with my expectations and zero experience with that species.

Looks like an alert tattler to me, stretching the neck to look at something.
The long wings, plain grey upperparts, barring on flanks, yellowish legs etc. don't really fit other possibilities I think.

Looking at maps, Wandering is very rare around Darwin, but Grey-tailed common, so by far most likely the latter. But impossible to tell from the photo!
