Saw these three wagtails this morning in Tampere area, Finland. 2 male, 1 female.
It is starting to get cold at night and they will likely migrate soon. The most common wagtail species around here is white wagtail (motacilla alba), and these look a lot like it, but not quite? The males have too much white on their throat which should be black. Maybe a subspecies? Or could younger birds look like this? The slight greying of the white face is likely just due to molting and the time of year.
