Warbler audio ID (1 Viewer)

That was it, just a short sharp blast. It's one of the reasons I didn't think it was a Blackcap.

I hear Blackcaps in the field everyday but I had wandered down towards the bank and heard this really loud short song out of nowhere, coming from bushes overhanging the water. I think that as I crept down it flew off and I heard it down stream, the same short loud burst.

The Merlin app showed up Cetti's and I know it didn't sound like the Blackcaps I am used to but wanted to see what others thought.

I appreciate the input.
 
I reckon its prob a Blackcap - their song starts to get a bit wonky towards the end of the season, and often starts to incorporate mimicry.
