Warbler ID in Fall - New Jersey, USA - 9/21/24 (1 Viewer)

I have been out birdwatching a lot during fall migration and have captured some warbler photos with some being much more blurry than others. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help ID the various warblers in the six photos below.

Best of Birding,
Shlundo

Thanks so much for all the advice and identifications. On a side note for the 4th photo of you think it may be a Canada Warbler due to the darker wing color and pinkish feet?

Thanks,
Shlundo

Thanks to everyone for all the help identifying the Canada Warbler. However is the Waterthrush in the first two photos I posted identiable? Can the supercilium of this warbler help identify it as a Northern or Louisiana Waterthrush? It was seen on, September, 9th, 2024. The habitat was a stream surrounded by forest.

Thanks,
Shlundo

Hard to tell from the lighting but seems to have more darker wings looking more than the slate blue of the Canada than the greenish tint on the Hooded's wings.

Apart from the back being olivey green and not slate blue (as would be the case for Canada), the UTC’s are yellow, in Canada they would be white!

Cheers

Lots of lighting nonsense going on here. For me:
  • Impossible to be sure what colour the back actually is. Unlikely to be (exactly) what we see due to lighting issues
  • The vent is actually white. The difference from the yellow is subtle, but it's there (for me). The whole thing appears yellow because of reflected light—see the leaf behind the bird to see what I mean (the latter's presence may mean there are also apparent contrast effects making everything appear more yellow than it should)
For me it's consistent with Canada warbler, but the artifacts are so great it wouldn't surprise me if it was actually something else.

Agreed this image is open to interpretation, however, regarding the likeness to CW is where I beg to differ.
I presume your looking at the “apparent eye ring “which to my eye is not one” but is an artefact of leafage, as I think it would be too far away from the bill as shown if it was one.
I still think that the upperparts are more olive than slate blue, but hey! we’ll have to agree to differ on this, as interpretation is in the eye of the beholder.

Another for Canada Warbler on pic 4, The Fern nicely lays out the lighting issues that are complicating this ID but it looks pretty cut and dry for me. Upperparts look more slaty and undertail covs may not be totally white but certainly paler than the rest of the underparts.
