Flocks of Corvids and Woodpigeons seen throughout the walk, with them suddenly taking flight in the fields and surrounding trees. A couple of Swallows and to be truthful that was it in the way of birds! A few White butterflies flitted about and I think I saw a Speckled Wood but it did not land in the gusty wind so I am not sure on that one. I stood under some trees and scanned the fields (hoping for  a Quail or twoo<img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite8" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":D" />) when I felt something on my arm and lo and behold it was a Shield Bug! It wasn't there for long I can assure you and no I didn't take a pic of it! All in all a pleasing walk away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.A few scenic pics added, fields of gold and Woodland.</blockquote>
